Turbeskrivelse
Six-day trip from Ubud, Bali to East Java, including a hike up to Ijen Volcano. We avoided riding on busy roads, and if no backroads could be found, we jumped on a pick-up. These (three) sections are shown as straight lines on the route map. Almost all roads were sealed - or broken tar - with very little traffic.
Accommodation was in "Village Above the Clouds" (Baturiti), "Kubuku" (Pemuteran), "Ijen Resort and Villas" (Licin, Banyuwangi), "Homestay Catimur", (Sempol), "Margo Utomo Hillside Cottages" (Kalibaru) and "Villa Agus" (Pulau Merah - Red Beach).
