This is a very beautiful track which will take you through the forest to Qarinj village and then to Tumanyan village.
We started the trail from Dsegh. This is a village where Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan was born. On the starting point you will see his statue.
It is possible to get water in Qarinj and also near the end of the trail.
At the beginning the trail is not very visible because of the grass, but it is marked all the way. In one place there is a need to crass the river (no bridge).
There are many bushes of blackberry (very tasty) and rose hip. Also many walnut and plum trees.
The most beautiful time to do this trail is the end of spring and autumn, when the forest takes on it's colorful cloak 🍂🍁
Some part of the trail is passing through the road and some through the village. And that's great as it gives an opportunity to see small, old houses and even talk to the habitats.
In summer be ready to meet mosquitoes in the woods.
Somewhere in the middle of the trail you will see Dsegh gorge.
There might be snakes there during hot season.
Be safe and take care of nature 🌿
