Turbeskrivelse
Starting from Hähnlein-Alsbach train station. Walk through the town. Follow the signs to Alsbach Castle.
It a fun Castle where they keep chicken and rabbits. Great views from the tower. It is free entry.
Then the trail goes into the forest.
There are a few options to get from there to Auerbach Castle.
We chose a fast path along the bitumen road. But I think there is a nicer gravel path along the ridge. Easy to see them on wikiloc if you zoom in a little.
You will come yo a cross roads where a number of paths converge.
Follow the sign unto Auback Castle.
The Castle is very impressive. You can climb up inside both towers. Lots to explore. Again it is free entry.
We then walked around the outside of the castle and followed the trail down into Aubach. We stopped in a small park. Then to the train station.
