Beautiful hike through the jungle with tons of wildlife, but very long. The stretch between Caxadaço and Lopes Mendes is no official trail and not well marked, so GPS helps. The rest is mostly easy trails. Some parts are a bit steep, could be more difficult with rain. No phone service for most of the hike. If you start early, you could hike back from Lopes Mendes to Abraão (another 2h / 7km though) - alternatively, there's watertaxis from Praia do Pouso.
